Amatulla Nashikwala
I am a passionate and proud biotechnologist specialising in mRNA synthesis and Lipid Nanoparticle formulations, currently working as a Production scientist at BASE mRNA Facility. With a Masters in Biotechnology and a strong foundation in molecular biology and bioprocessing, I bring hands-on experience in upstream and downstream processing of mRNA and its development and manufacture as vaccines and therapeutic agents. Over my early career, I have contributed to several translational research projects, including molecular diagnostics, peptide therapeutics, and viral-host interaction studies, across academic and industry settings.At the A-RNA Conference, I will be sharing insights into scalable mRNA and LNP manufacturing workflows, drawing on my experience optimising processes for stability, expression, and product integrity.
